Description:
 In celebration of Capital Pride, join us for a panel discussion on what it’s like to be “out” in the American South. Topics will include coming out, how the South changes the way LGBTQ+ individuals live (in both positive and negative ways), and the future of the LGBTQ+ community in the southern states. Panelists will include Dr. Lance Poston (Executive Director for Institutional Diversity at the University of Kentucky), Mark Johnson (Health Program Administrator, Kentucky Department for Public Health – HIV/AIDS Section), Tuesday Meadows (transgender activist), Jared Hubbard (Ken Tagious, Abbess of the Kentucky Fried Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence), and Carmen Wampler-Collins (PCSO Pride Center Coordinator).
